Mr. Carl (David) Hatchell Sr., 68, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Born in Cumberland County on November 30, 1950 to the late Carl M. Hatchell and Frances Shaw Hatchell. He worked in the Heating and Air Condition business and loved Nascar, Old Western Movies and working in the yard.

He is survived by his son, Carl Hatchell of Georgia; a daughter, Tonya Culbreth of Hope Mills; brothers, Jimmy Poindexter of Raleigh and Ralph Hatchell Lampasas, TX; sisters, Faye Pilson of Cameron, Barbara Davis of Sanford, Doris Godfrey of St. Pauls and Sandy Pilson of Mt. Holly; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.
