Gertrude Williford (Holland) Avant

Gertrude Williford Avant, 86, of Red Springs passed away on March 16, 2018. She was preceded in death by her Husbands; Julian Williford and Bill Avant.

Gertrude is survived by her Daughters; Ellen (Michael) Carter, and Debbie (Douglas) Burke, three Brothers; Johnny, Lindy, and David Holland, two Sisters; Diane Johnson and Sue Harris, two Granddaughters; Teresa (David) Conoly, and Kathy (Tony) Denton, and three Great-Grandchildren.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 19, 2018 at Lumber Bridge Presbyterian Church with Rev. Archie Barringer and Rev. Mike McGehee officiating. Interment will follow in Alloway Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 PM at Crumpler Funeral Home – Red Springs.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lumber Bridge Presbyterian Church.

 Services for the family are entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home – Red Springs.
