Luevina "Jam-Up" (McMillan) Jones

Ms. Luevina "Jam-Up" Jones McMillan, 80, departed this life on January 16, 2018 in Southeastern Hospice House.

 Ms. McMillan was born on February 2, 1937 to the late Woodrow and Strawdy Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband; Daniel Clifton McMillan, three Sisters; Marie Locklear, Edith Barton, Rhado Locklear, and a grandson, Shawn McMillan.

She leaves to cherish her memories one Son; Donald McMillan (Laura Ann) of Shannon, NC, one daughter; Melba Hester (Mark) of Shannon, NC, Five Sisters; Vivian Smith, Sarah Stephens, Idell Hammonds, Mary Chavis, Hazel Locklear, two brothers; James Jones and Randy Jones, grandchildren; Jason McMillan, Aaron Hester, Marcus Hester; great grandchildren, Clifton Scott, Jason Daniel McMillan, Brantaysha Manor, Norman McMillan, Kristyle Richardson, Pashun McMillan, Shawnessy McMillan, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 100 Church St. Shannon, NC 28386.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Nicholas McNeill officiating.

Burial will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
