Ms. M. Gaile McPhatter, 73, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 in New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington.

Gaile was born in Wakulla, Robeson County on May 30, 1945 to the late Lacy and O’Vera Handy McPhatter. She worked as a Nurse and lived in Washington, DC for 40 years. She moved back to Red Springs after retirement. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Wade Freeman McPhatter and a nephew, John Freeman McPhater

She is survived by her loving children, Kelly D. McPhatter (LaTisha) of Red Springs and Renee McPhatter of Washington, DC; 4 grandchildren, ShaDerrica, Breanna, Keiondra, Wilson and many extended family members.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Mt Zion United Methodist Church, Maxton, NC. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 with Reverend Lucretta B. Toney officiating.

Burial will follow in Snow Hill Cemetery in Maxton.
