Mary Kathryn (Stone) Autry

Mary Kathryn Stone Autry, 90, of Lumberton passed away on June 12, 2018.

Mary is preceded in death by her Husband; Samuel Jackson Autry.

Mrs. Autry was born I Orange County, FL. On July 23, 1927 to the late Hector A. and Leola Ammons Stone. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Red Springs where she taught the senior adult ladies Sunday school class. Mrs. Autry graduated from Flora McDonald in 1948 with a B.S. degree in Home Economics and Science. She first taught school at Barnsville in Robeson County and also taught in Sampson and Hoke Counties.

Mary is survived by her two sons; Thomas H. (Cindy) Autry of Raleigh and Jimmy M. (Judy) Autry of Rock Hill, SC., three Grandchildren; Ryan Autry, Landon Autry, and Shellie (Jason) Tedford, and five Great-Grandchildren; Lillie, Jackson, Darcy, Macey and Ryleigh.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Red Springs with Rev. Bradley Boberg officiating.
