Mr. Anthony Lynn Carter (Hoss), 29. of Lumberton passed away on April 24, 2019 in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

Anthony was born in Robeson County on April 11, 1990. He worked at Calabash Seafood in Myrtle Beach and his most recent job was at Golden Corral in Lumberton.

He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Anthony Carter, his maternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Mittie Jane Jones, his paternal grandparents, Braddy and Marcella Carter and his uncle, Eugene Jones.

He is survived by his loving mother, Kathrine Jones Locklear (James) of Lumberton; his loving brother, Tony Lee Carter (Lannie) of Lumberton; a daughter, Carla Carter of West Virginia and a special friend, Mechelle Carter of West Virginia; Three nephews, Cody Lee Carter, Braylan Carter and Paxton Lowery, all of Lumberton; two sisters, Madison Jones and Nevaeh Locklear, both of Lumberton and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Ave Red Springs, NC 28377.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Crumpler Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Jones officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Anna Baptist Church Cemetery in Pembroke.
