Larry Junior Locklear

Mr. Larry Junior Locklear, 74, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

Larry was born in Cumberland County on March 6, 1944. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed riding and caring for horses, welding and spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

He is survived by his special lady, Nedra Cummings Locklear; Sons, Gary Locklear and Jerry Locklear (Allision Fipps Scott); Daughters, Susan L. Chavis (Stevie), Martha L Hopkins (Glenn); Daughter-In-Law, Wanda Locklear; 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren and Biological Mother, Ruthie McGirt Locklear. He is preceded in death by his father, Haywood Locklear; Mother, Jessie Belle McGirt; Son, Larry Junior Locklear II; 4 brothers and 1 sister.

The Locklear family will receive friends between the hours of 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Avenue, Red Springs, NC 28377.
