Mr. Marvin Locklear, 80, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 in Accordius Heath Care at Aberdeen.

Marvin was born in Robeson County on May 17, 1940, son to the late Munson and Odessa Brewer Locklear. He worked as an installer in Fire Protection before retirement. Marvin loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was greatly loved by his family and will be missed by all who new him. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Melyar Locklear.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eleanor Mae Locklear of the home; a son, Marvin David Locklear of Fayetteville; a daughter, Barbara Jean Locklear of Shannon; a special aunt, Winnie Lee Jones of Pembroke; 1 grandchild, 6 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

Services for Marvin will be held at a later date.
