William (Bill) Gales Miller

God looked around Heaven and decided he needed some more voices in the Heavenly Choir. On Saturday, September 12, 2020, He reached out his hand of love and said Billy it’s time to come home I have the chair in the choir you wanted. With this we lost our dear friend here on earth and he gained his Heavenly reward with those who have passed on before.

William Gales Miller, or Billy to us, was born June 8, 1957 in Fayetteville to the late John Bogan and Retha Merle Gales Miller. After graduating from high school, he attended and graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a degree in computer programming. He worked with a computer firm in Raleigh until they moved overseas. He worked various jobs until his declining health caused him to retire. Even though retired his singing voice was still very active.

We will gather Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Cross Creek Cemetery to remember him and morn his passing.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael. He is survived by a brother Gary Miller; a sister, Brenda Miller Trent, many nieces, nephews, friends and special friends Johanna and Patricia that were always there during his time of sickness.
